Posted in Life on May 4, 2008 by BobUpdated: Since I have failed miserably, this is a reset of the counter, only this time it WILL work.
Will keep on updating this post to remind myself of the achievement.
On another note, a great website that helped me quit for six months previously, WhyQuit. I recommend anyone who wants to quit smoking to visit this site, very very helpful
Found this really cuul application that measures the time you have quit smoking.
Very handy tool, very interesting to see how long can I last (Inshallah I will last for quite a looooooooong while).

Day 3 – The view from my living room
Posted in Dubai, Picture a day, Pictures, The world through my eyes with tags Dubai, photo, photoblog, Picture a day on May 3, 2008 by BobThis is the view from my living room.
In Dubai, you can never have a view without some cranes. It’s like a massive construction site.
I don’t have blinds in my living room and well there is a massive window (actually the whole wall is made of glass). Someone suggested I never put up blinds since the view is nice and although it irritated me at first but I am kind of enjoying the scene. Not sure I would be worried about people looking at me

Yeah yeah, everyone shoots Burj Al Arab. I was thinking about what to post as my first photo and bam, I was standing there so I had to, sue me.
While I was waiting for the shoot, a bunch of people participating in a boot camp kept on passing by and this idiot trainer was pointing his flashlight in my face all the time which messed up my shoot and made me wait for over 30 minutes to be able to take this shot. I would have kicked his ass but seeing he is actually screaming like a mad dog at the poor souls trying to run I refrained…
